The Creation of the River of Life

An Encounter Beyond the Veil
It was in the year of 2021 when I began to experience the Kingdom realm behind the veil in a way that I had never experienced before. The Father began to allow me to enter into encounters where I would see, experience, and receive revelation from places within His presence. It was during this time that I began to have encounters at what I came to know as the River of Life.
This river was multifaceted.
It was not simply a river of water. There were different expressions of the Father flowing through it. There was life in the river, purification in the river, fire in the river, the love of the Father in the river, and the glory of God flowing through its waters. Every time I encountered it, I understood that there was more beneath the surface than what could immediately be seen.
When we first see the river in Scripture, we see it in Eden.
Genesis 2:10 says, “And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.”
The four rivers were Pishon, Gihon, Hiddekel, also known as the Tigris, and Euphrates. The river flowed from Eden, from the place where the Father had established His presence, His order, His creation, and communion with man.
But then we see this river again in Revelation.
Revelation 22:1 says, “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”
This is what began to open my understanding even more. The River of Life is not just connected to Eden; it proceeds from the throne of God. It carries what comes from Him.
As I began to go deeper into these encounters, I saw what looked like gemstones at the bottom of the river. In the encounter, I understood these stones to represent inheritance and treasures that were hidden within the deep places of God. There were things within the river that could not be found by remaining at the surface.
There were treasures in the deep.
There were mysteries in the deep.
There were inheritances in the deep.
And I began to understand that these treasures were there for the sons and daughters of God who desired to seek Him beyond what was familiar.
Psalm 42:7 says, “Deep calleth unto deep.”
There is a place where the deep places of God begin to call to the deep places within us. There comes a point when shallow waters can no longer satisfy the hunger that the Father has placed within you. There are things that He reveals only through pursuit, intimacy, surrender, and a willingness to go deeper into His presence.
The River of Life also carried the life of Heaven.
Ezekiel saw a river flowing from the temple, and Ezekiel 47:9 tells us that “everything shall live whither the river cometh.”
That scripture has always been so powerful to me because wherever the River of God flows, it brings life. What has been dry can live again. What has been dormant can awaken again. What has been wounded can begin to heal. What has been polluted can be purified.
But this river did not only carry life.
It carried the purification and fire of Heaven.
There was something cleansing about the river, but there was also something refining about it. This was not simply a peaceful stream where we come and remain comfortable. There was an invitation within the waters to be transformed. The deeper you go into God, the more you begin to encounter what belongs to Him, but you also begin to encounter what cannot remain in you.
His presence cleanses.
His fire purifies.
His River restores.
And yet, in the midst of all of this, I encountered the love of the Father.
There was such a depth of His love within these waters. It was not simply something that could be explained; it was something that could be experienced.
Psalm 36:8–9 says, “Thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life.”
The River comes from Him because He is the fountain of life.
The River carries the heart of the Father.
This encounter eventually became an expression through one of the flags that I created called River of Life.
The colors within this flag are Deep Water, Patina Blue, Extreme Blue, and Deep Space. Each color began to carry a part of what I had encountered spiritually in the River.
Deep Water represents the invitation into the depths of God. It speaks of leaving the shallow waters and allowing yourself to be completely immersed in Him.
Patina Blue reflects the movement of living water, the beauty of the River, and the way His presence continues to flow.
Extreme Blue represents the intensity, brilliance, and revelation that can be found within the waters of Heaven.
And then there is Deep Space.
Deep Space represents that place beyond the veil—the hidden realm, the mysterious place, the place where the Father begins to reveal things that cannot always be understood from the surface.
And within the Deep Space portion of the flag are gold and purple.
The gold represents the glory of God, His divine nature, His purity, His refinement, and the riches of Heaven.
The purple represents royalty, kingship, priesthood, and the authority of the King.
And this was so significant to me because it connected back to what I had seen within the River. The deeper places were where the treasures were. The glory was there. The inheritance was there. The riches of the Kingdom were there.
There are treasures within the face of the deep.
But they are for those who desire to seek Him.
Jeremiah 29:13 says, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
The Father does not hide Himself from us, but there are dimensions of Him that are discovered through hunger. There are mysteries that unfold through intimacy. There are treasures that are found when we are willing to remain in His presence long enough for Him to reveal them.
This is why River of Life was never simply a flag that I created.
It was born from encounter.
Before there was fabric, there was revelation.
Before there was color, there was an experience with the Father.
Before there was movement in the hands of a worshiper, there was movement within the waters of Heaven.
What you see expressed through this flag is my attempt to release into the earth something that I first encountered within the presence of God.
And even now, I believe the River is still flowing.
The deep is still calling.
The Father is still revealing.
There are still treasures within His presence.
There are still inheritances waiting to be discovered.
And there are still sons and daughters who will hear the sound of the waters and respond to the invitation:
Come deeper.
Prayer
Father, I thank You that You are the fountain of life and that from Your throne flows the River of Living Water. I thank You that there are depths within You that we have not yet discovered and treasures within Your presence that we have not yet seen.
Father, awaken a deeper hunger within us. Deliver us from being satisfied with shallow waters when You are calling us into the deep. Teach us how to seek You with our whole hearts and how to remain in Your presence long enough for You to reveal the mysteries, treasures, and inheritances that You have prepared for Your sons and daughters.
Let Your River flow through every dry place within us. Let Your life awaken what has become dormant. Let Your waters cleanse what needs to be purified, and let Your fire refine everything within us that cannot remain in Your presence.
Father, allow us to experience Your love within the River. Let us know You beyond information and encounter You in intimacy. Reveal Your glory. Reveal Your heart. Reveal the treasures that are hidden within the deep.
And as You reveal them, teach us how to carry what we have received from Heaven and release it faithfully into the earth.
We hear the sound of the deep calling unto deep, and our answer is yes.
Take us deeper.
In the name of Yeshua,Amen.
